Horrible knock off. Do not purchase this. Cheap cheap cheap. Talk about getting what you pay for? Echo sound when using the mic. Wires are really thin. audio is ok at best. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Don't buy these. You think you're buying what the product image is "The real Apple headphone/mic" - but you get some knock-off version that has the mic about 1' away from your face. The seller should put the real image of the product they sell and stop cheating buyers.

These earphones are, as listed several times before, non OEM and they are significantly different from the original earphones in that the wires feel more like plastic as opposed to the rubbery wires from the original earphones. The earphones do work as advertised, the microphone is of good quality and the button works. One big concern is the sound quality, you will most certainly notice that the sound quality on these earphones is not the best, it doesn't respond that well with bass and a lot of background music is sometimes distorted. If you're looking for a decent set of earphones that work, these should do the job. If you are picky about your sound, buy the original ones from Apple.
Edit: After owning these earphones for 1 month, I can say, "STAY AWAY FROM THESE EARPHONES." The metal mesh on the left earbud just popped out and the wire is very flimsy and may tear easily.

When you buy this item please remember that this is NOT the original that came with your phone. A lot of reviewers thought they'd be getting the original and seem to be disappointed with the results.
The sound quality is not as good, it's got a different feel and the remote isn't the same.
But for the price - it gets 5 stars. Just buy 2-3 and toss them around instead of carrying your original one everywhere.
In short, great value for money.
